Review: American Airlines/Landline Service from Atlantic City Airport - Recently, I had the opportunity to take this new service to a conference in Boston and below are my comments:
Overall, I was extremely pleased with the experience
First step - check in at ACY (I arrived 1 1/2 hours before bus departure and next time would arrive 1/2 hour to 40 minutes before bus departure)
If you are checking luggage, you need to do nothing more with your baggage once it is checked at ACY until you arrive at your final destination
Board bus at ACY for an hour to hour and 20-minute bus ride to Philadelphia Airport (PHL). The bus was very clean, and the ride was very comfortable
Get dropped off at F Terminal at PHL and go through relatively short security check there
Walk to center of F Terminal, double check the gate for your flight, and take airport bus to the proper terminal (mine was B)
When you are dropped off by the airport bus at your terminal, walk to your gate, board the plane, deplane at your destination and pick up your luggage if any
Returning home reversed this process
Check in, drop off baggage, and fly back to PHL
Once in PHL, the bus back to ACY departs from gate F8 and takes an hour to an hour and a 1/2
You pick up your luggage next to the bus when you arrive at ACY (no need to transfer baggage once you checked it upon leaving the destination)
Everyone involved during check-in, baggage drop-off and bus ride was great
I will definitely be using this service again next time I fly
I have no financial interest in anything involved with this service, I would just like for other people to know about it so the service can be successful and continue in the future so I can use it again
Happy to answer any questions about the service that anyone would like to ask
